OMAHA Real Estate CE Classes

11-20 - Property Evaluation for the Home Buyer (0750R)

20-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

This class is a 'checklist' look at evaluating a potential property the buyer may want to purchase. The 'checklist' contains items that buyer's agents have failed to address that have caused license suspension, revocation, fines, etc.

11-21 - Ethics Training (0497R)

21-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

The National Association of REALTORS approved course that meets the quadrennial Ethics Course Requirement. This course is a study of the REALTOR Code of Ethics. (Intermediate)

11-21 - Representing New Construction (0601)

21-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

Who should attend this course? Real estate agents, REALTORS®, brokers, property managers or new constructor builders or builder agents that are looking for real estate continuing education credit.

This is a fantastic course for anyone interested in representing buyers for new construction. We focus on representing a buyer of new construction by exploring every step of the process from lot selection to closing. Here is a basic outline of the course:

  • Weighing the pro’s and con’s of New Construction Homes
  • Knowing and understanding your buyers new…does new construction fit those needs?
  • Selecting a builder
  • Understanding the appropriate interaction between you the agent, the builder, and your client
  • Finding the right subdivision and lot that fits your clients needs and wants
  • Reviewing and approving the builder plans and specs
  • Beginning the purchase process
  • Contract issues and custom additions
  • Examine common contingencies you might encounter
  • Understanding builder warranties
  • Financing & new construction
  • Walk thru and closing

11-22 - Avoiding Misrepresentation (0598R)

22-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

Knowing what to look for in each transaction to protect yourself and your buyers and sellers from misrepresentations is one of the most important professional services you can provide. Learn how to identify and avoid misrepresentation in the real estate transaction. (Intermediate)

11-27 - TEAMS: The REQUIRED CE Class (1000R)

27-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

This class meets the “TEAM” CE requirement set by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission. The class outlines the issues surrounding team activity in the real estate marketplace. From the license laws, agency representation, advertising, and management of “teams”…each team leader, member, manager, broker…and the public, will benefit from this class!

11-28 - Understanding Tenant Rights (1002RPM)

28-Nov-17      Tuition:  $40

This class meets the “Property Management” requirement set by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission. This examines the right of tenants as stated in the Nebraska Landlord Tenant Act. It is a detailed look at virtually every action or situation that could arise in a landlord/tenant relationship.
